Reading Ralph Rugoff's "Scene of the Crime" and moving back to my hometown after years away I searched for symbols and traces, asking what had changed and what had remained.
In walking old paths, a metal gate re-emerged, marking the entrance of a walk I did as a child. "Through the unknown, remembered (gate)" examines the details of this entrance with a macro lens, exploring themes of personal symbology, landscape and memory.
